Frank DuMont has played with the best and is, himself, one of the best blues performers around these days. Frank's new CD, LIVE, is starting to make the rounds at some of the leading blues and jazz markets here and abroad. Frank is currently working out of Colorado Springs, CO. Plans are for an upcoming project to be recorded in the Carolinas at The Music Box Studio, Hamilton, NC with Frank handling the guitar, harmonica and vocals with Barney Conway on keyboards and producing the session. On drums will be Ted Etheridge, and on bass and rhythm guitar, all-around guitar/bass master, Ronnie Waters.
The songs selected for this CD will vary from some good ole' gut-bucket blues numbers to some original material written by Barney Conway. The planned release will be on the Union Rogue Entertainment label.

Nice clip at http://www.DetroitFrankDumont.com. The new Prophet of the Blues. Where did this guy come from? The most finger popping, soulful, roadhouse, nitty-gritty, true Blues from a unique artist with the courage to break away from the herd and the power to leave it behind. "Get on, Detroit."

Excellent blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any suggestions? Kudos!

Tell it like it T – I – Z! Great news… I’m taking Frank Dumont into the studio for a new CD session this coming week and there’ some awesome material in the works. We’re doing the song selection now and some of them are going to be killer! Keep watching for the latest. Thanks!
